Congratulations on finishing the semester and exams (if not finished yet, then soon)! :tada::tada::tada:

To celebrate we have a 2 in 1 event on Monday the 21st (Yes, that's right after everyone's exams have finished). These two events are us going to see the "Josee, the Tiger and the Fish!" film and afterwards, having a celebratory dinner :beer:, which includes Japanese hotpot and all you can eat Japanese food! :bento::ramen::sushi::curry:

If you're interested in one event but not the other, that's totally fine; you can come to whichever event you prefer or both. (We are going on a Monday, so you can get those cheap $8 student tickets :dollar:)

• :ticket: "Josee, the Tiger and the Fish" is a film by studio Bones (FMA, Hero Aca, Mob Psycho), directed by Koutarou Tamura (Norgami) about Tsuneo, an ordinary college student and avid diver, who unexpectedly becomes the caretaker of a wheelchair-bound young woman in order to raise money for his dream of diving in Mexico. This young woman, who calls herself Josee after her favourite book character, is sullen and demanding, but as Tsuneo helps Josee interact with the outside world and learns more about Josee’s unique perspective, their feelings grow into love.

• :clock12: We'll be going to the 4:45 pm session at George Street Cinema. For tickets, we'll buy them at the cinema at 4:15 pm.

• :bento::curry::ramen: Dinner will be at Kansai Japanese Restaurant (check the menu options + prices here, yes there is alcohol :beer:). We will be heading there directly from the cinema.

Anyone can join us on 21st June, Monday at 4:20pm and/or 6:50pm at George Street Event Cinema & Kansai for an Anime movie + Japanese Hotpot & All you can eat celebratory dinner. Why? For a good anime film (#56 on MAL) and good Japanese food to celebrate! :tada:

We are holding the event on Monday to access cheap $8 student tickets for the film and there is no time limit on the all you can eat. The dinner is at 7 pm, so we hope you can make it!
