Opening sequences and closing sequences are standard formulas for any sort of anime (although sometimes openings are optional), recently we have seen a number of series with what I like to call ‘custom music’ (boring name, I know).
If you’re one to follow recent anime, you’ll know that there have been a few musical or music themed anime of late, among which are such as Guilty Crown and Senki Zesshou Symphogear, both of which feature tracks written and/or performed especially for the anime by the seiyuus (voice actors) of the series.
When writing this I realised I don’t have the knowledge of current anime so enjoy an old fav 
It has been a good run, but now we are reaching the last of our orientation events. But that won’t stop us (or me for that matter) going out with a bang of passionate, soul melting karaoke!

Prepare yourself, for what can be considered the most intense( and insane…) event we have at Anime@UTS – K+E+I (Karaoke + Eat-out + Ice-cream).
Thrash out a tune – whatever the language may be – Jap, Eng, or anything in between. Have a great time or look like an idiot doing it (you know what I’ll be doing – all of the above, yes please!~).
Then we rest… and devour food, as we hang out and eat our fill at one of the many, many place to dine in the city.
Finally, we cool off… with ice cream towers? No, you have not read wrong. There will be ice cream after dinner, and there will be too much.

How the holidays pass so fast… sometimes I think to myself ‘it would be so awesome if I was the God of Time and Space’, I could extend holidays, make a fortune from gambling, and redo tests (…actually that last one would be hell). However, as we all know, the only way to actually become such a being is to bet your life and cellphone in a survival game, where contestants play for the amusement of one bored God.
