Merry past Christmas and happy future New Year, welcome to the final Music Monday for 2011. Hold your tears and put on a brave face, for it will return… but expect writing spawned by those with massive hangovers next week… moving right along… To tide you over till New Year’s here is something to warm up your spirits: Hateshinai Sekai by YMCK.
Like all great things, ideas are copied from better places and people, so just like your weekly dosage of music, this will be your weekly dosage of art for whatever purpose (as long as you don’t steal it).
Art does not have to be intricate to be beautiful, sometimes an inordinate and insightful idea/theme is just as captivating, or even if art piece is just used for humourous effect. You can draw inspiration from other artists, but ultimately draw the way you want, and in the way which is comfortable for you.
This week to start off, we’ll be picking something from Pixiv. I can’t take you to the start of it all, since I’m lacking a bit of knowledge in that realm, but hopefully these pieces will be something you all are fairly familiar with and can appreciate the beauty of.

Well, I’m not one for saying what might suit the season, but nonetheless, I set out to search amongst my now meagre collection of music (and songs I remembered from the ghost of a music collection that was) for something that fit my condition of ‘uplifting’ which I wanted for the occasion. Ignoring the weight of much too heavy headphones digging into the sides of my head, I braved the oncoming headache to bring you ‘Monochrome Rainbow’ by Tommy Heavenly6, currently being used as the ending song to Bakuman 2.
Now, what do I have in store for you this lovely Monday -goes through the archives-… Ah, Under Star by Shocking Lemon, how perfectly unsuitable for this holiday period. Let the good times roll ~Dempsey Style~
