Unlike MeePo101 who wrote our last Music Monday and who claims to be living, my living is but a grand illusion!!! Albeit a convincing and persistent one. Einstein’s words are not mine. He had some pretty crazy theories that were the mindf*cks of their time. Arguably the biggest mindf*ck for me of the last few years was Madoka Magica, which conveniently enough had some music we can discuss!
The one thing I love more than anime is a cross-over! Well that and cross-dressers, though that’s for another blog post series. For this Picture It I decided to take a break from screenshot discussion and instead do something a little more esoteric!

Whether it be those infamously fabulous Somy televisions or weird bright yellow letters that almost look like McDonalds but not quite, parodies of brands have been a mainstay of anime (and Western media!) since probably the beginning. Perhaps owing to their explosive growth in Asia and the instantly recognisable green circle and bold white letters, Starbucks seems to be one of the current favourites for parody, thanks to some very high profile inclusions!
