Anime@UTS – ArtJam

As uni approaches with dazzling speed (tomorrow as of writing this) all looks a little bleak and boring… Then out of nowhere comes ArtJam, Anime@UTS’s art event, to save your sanity and giving you a good reason to get through the first week.

It doubles as slave labour~

The second of our O-Events, ArtJam, is more than meets the eye… actually, it is pretty straight forward. Come join us and do something artistic, be it drawing, painting, prepping cosplay, papercraft, mecha building, or digital art, get involved and show it off to the rest of the club. Then comes the Jamm’n – hang out and play games… and eat jam filled sandwiches.

Anime@UTS – Meet and Greet

So you have gone to O-Day and joined the club – gotten into the club. Now all you need to do is go through INITIATION (Mad hits Alex)… ok, maybe it would just be best if you show up and meet the rest of the members.

Awwwwwww He's all tuckered out ~

The annual Meet and Greet is the first club event of the Anime@UTS calendar and allows members the opportunity to chill, meet both new and old members of the club, get shown the ropes, and eat ridiculous amounts of food. Oh, and games are on the agenda, board games mind you :D

Please Bring some food and drink along to ensure everyone has a steady intake of energy… but which I mean sugar IVs… but real food is good too – as we will also be ordering pizza sometime during the day.

Music Monday – What’s an anime?

Monday is here, and I am frantically writing before I rush off – gotta wrap this Music Monday up as there is Working to be done. You know I am pretty lucky to have a job, it’s not like 17 year old girls that look like lolis just walk up to you asking if you want work. Working conditions are terrible though, your boss treats you like dirt while stuffing their face, the other employees are as weird as they come, and the customers… well, lets leave that for another time. I’m just your typical casual employee at Wagnaria. We even have our own theme song, why don’t you have a little listen – SOMEONE ELSE by Kana Asumi, Saki Fujita and Eri Kitamura. Cya at Work~

Anime@UTS and O-Day

The holidays are drawing to an end and uni looms only a week away – but fear not! People speak of a place that can eliminate the boredom and fear that consumes you…

O-Day is the best place to see and join the much talked about anime club known as Anime@UTS. Come and see what the fuss is all about, ask us questions, and see us in our element – the stall. So bring friends, drag them for the sake of great justice, tell them about the free stuff we are offering, and how the club can change their lives… or at least give them something awesome to do.

Magical Music Tuesday – Valentine’s Day Love Love Edition~

There is love in the air~ Can you feel it! It must be that time again, Valentine’s Day! … Oh, and Music… Tuesday! I hope you’re ready, since this is a special Music… Tuesday, as there will ACTUALLY be quite a bit of music, which I think is more than a welcome change. Do not worry however, as I will still be here to jazz things up. While love is the central aspect of Valentine’s Day it has also given the anime fandom many things to think about – their lover, loved ones, possible pairings, and fanfic ideas – the imagination is a beautiful and powerful thing~
